Situated along the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea, the beautiful resort of Kemer sits next to a forested valley, with the western Taurus Mountains as a backdrop. There is a wonderful marina and promenade with a beach on each side for you to relax on. Moonlight Beach is the more popular of the two, an arc of sand and pebbles, with the other one being pebbles.
The weather along the Turkish Riviera, here in Kemer, can range between 15°-21° in the winter and 25°-35° during the summer, perfect for sunbathing and cooling off in the crystal clear sea. There are also some great restaurants and cafes in Kemer, serving excellent local cuisine and all kinds of international dishes such as English, Italian, Indian and Chinese to name just a few. After enjoying a good meal why not try some of the late night bars, for a few drinks and end up in one of the discos. A few modern boutiques with all the latest fashion are open as well as the Turkish shops selling locally produced goods like leather and jewellery, though for those of you wanting good cheap souvenirs and more varied shops, a trip into Antalya is recommended. Many of the hotels in Kemer have their own entertainment and shows if you just enjoy relaxing in your hotel after a day on the beach.
