What started off as the small fishing village of Gumbet, has now grown into a modern resort, complete with nightclubs, bars, restaurants, fast food outlets, shops and cafes. The day time is generally spent lazing on the beach, recovering from the night before and preparing yourself to party the night away again.
The temperature in Bodrum can range between 14°-18° in winter and 25°-35° during the summer months, meaning that the curving long sand beach backed by a row of many bars and restaurants is ideal for relaxing on and ordering drinks from the waiters who serve you on the beach.
The restaurants here in Gumbet can cater for all kinds of tastes, from local, exquisite, delightful, Turkish dishes to international cuisine from Mexico, India, Thai, Italian and of course good old British food. Many of the hotels can offer outstanding facilities as well as book you up for any number of watersports, day trips and excursions
