With it`s white washed walls and narrow streets, Casares is a picturesque village that sits on a hillside, 9 miles inland from the coast. Sitting on top of the hill are the remains of the 12th century Moorish castle, offering spectacular, panoramic views down to the coast and over to Gibraltar.
The Casares weather can range between 17-20° out of season and up to 32° during the summer months, and is popular with holiday makers who love hiking and beautiful scenery.
Scattered around Casares are restaurants, bars and cafes where you can enjoy a lovely meal, washed down with a few refreshing drinks, and the village shops sell locally produced goods, such as pottery, ceramics and leather wares.
Casares car hire is a great way to explore the beautiful surrounding areas, so check out our fantastic deals, all including a Casares map to help your car hire run smoothly.
