Situated 14km south of Lloret De Mar is the coastal resort of Santa Susanna, a popular choice for holiday makers, impressed with both the authentic Old Town and the modern tourist area down by the seafront. The temperature in Santa Susanna can range between 13-18° off season and up to 30° during the summer months.
The long, golden beach gently curves around the bay, extending into Malgrat De Mar, perfect for sunbathing and cooling off in the crystal clear water. Sun beds and umbrellas are dotted along the beach and a number of water sports are available. When it comes to eating out in Santa Susanna you have the choice between delicious Spanish cuisine in the Catalan restaurants and Bodegas of the Old Town, to international dishes from the restaurants around the modern tourist area. There is a good choice of bars in Santa Susanna, as well as a few nightclubs, to keep you dancing until the early hours, as well as plenty of shops and boutiques for those holiday essentials and souvenirs.
