Calella lies on the Costa Brava coast, 10 miles south of Lloret De Mar, with a 3km long sandy beach, popular with sunbathers, swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. The temperature in Calella can range between 13-18° out of season, and up to 30° during the summer months.
The Old Town in Calella is wonderful to stroll through, with it`s white-washed buildings and narrow streets and there are a good number of shops and boutiques along the main strip. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in Calella, catering for everyone`s tastes, from good old British grub to Spanish speciality dishes, international cuisine to fast food. In the evening Calella comes alive with a good choice of bars and restaurants staying open until late, as well as a handful of discos.
