Located on the south-east coast of Zakynthos, Laganas is the largest and liveliest resort on the island, where you will find a gorgeous sandy beach stretching for miles and the main street filled with nightlife. Due to Tsilivi Beach being a protected area for the loggerhead turtles, there are no motorised sports allowed off the shore, meaning a relaxed vibe during the day, allowing you to laze, peacefully on the beach whilst preparing for another exciting evening in the clubs and bars. Once the sun goes down the Tsilivi nightlife comes alive, with bars, clubs, discos, pubs and karaoke venues keeping you dancing until dawn. There are plenty of quiet tavernas and establishments off the main strip where you can enjoy a relaxing evening away from the crowds if you wish. Whether you want to sample the delicious local cuisine or international dishes such as Indian, Chinese, Italian and good old British grub, Laganas caters for almost all tastes.
