Situated on the northwest coast of the island, Tholos, also known as Theologos, is 20 kilometres from Rhodes Town and perfect for both families and couples who are looking for a relaxing resort with plenty of amenities, yet with easy access into the large, bustling resorts.
The temperature in Tholos can range between 15°-20° during the winter months and 23°-31° in the summer, making it popular for adults, children and also wind surfers. The crystal clear sea is excellent for paddling in and the beaches and Tholos centre are renowned for their cleanliness. The market is definitely worth a visit to pick up those holiday souvenirs and there is a good selection of restaurants and taverns to choose from, with Tholos coming alive in the evening yet keeping a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
