Situated on the east coast of Rhodes, on the Aegean Sea, Faliraki is 9 miles south of Rhodes Town and is the number one party resort on the island. Every summer, holiday makers gather here to soak up the glorious sunshine, laze the day away on the 3 mile stretch of gorgeous sandy beach and party from dusk till dawn.
During the winter months you can expect temperatures to range between 17-21° and in the summer 27-32°, perfect for sunbathing all day and cooling off in the crystal clear water to prepare yourself for another night partying. For the more active holiday makers, during the day there are plenty of water sports to try your hand at, as well as one of the biggest water parks in Europe. There are many supermarkets in Faliraki for all those essentials as well as tourist shops, which stay open well into the night, selling the usual cheap holiday souvenirs. When it comes to eating, Faliraki can cater for everybody`s tastes. Traditional Greek tavernas offer all kinds of delicious local cuisine and there are an abundance of British style pubs serving all day breakfasts and good old English grub. Travelling further a field from Faliraki is easy as there are regular buses to take you into Rhodes Town, with it`s ancient sites or cheap local taxis, or why not take a water taxi to other nearby beaches along this beautiful coastline.
