Situated on the south-west coast of Kefalonia, Lassi is just outside the capital, Argostoli and a short transfer from the airport. Boasting 2 of the most famous beaches on Kefalonia, Platys Yialos a wide beach and Makrys Yalos a long stretch, both consisting of golden sand that gently shelves into the crystal clear sea.
The Lassi holiday season generally runs from April to November, when the temperature can rise from 20° through to the mid 30`s. When you can drag yourself away from the superb beaches you will find a few souvenir shops and supermarkets where you can purchase some good cheap holiday gifts and the usual holiday essentials. Lassi nightlife tends to involve relaxing in one of the bars and tavernas, enjoying a few drinks as the sun goes down and if you fancy a night on the tiles then nearby Argostoli has a number of discos.
