Georgioupolis lies between Rethymnon and Chania, on the north coast of Crete, in the bay of Almiros where three rivers flow into the sea. The beach is a fantastic 6 mile stretch with crystal clear water, excellent for swimming and snorkelling.
The temperature in Georgioupolis can range between 14-21° off season and 26-30° during the summer months, perfect for a sun, sand and sea holiday. Close to the seafront you can find a good number of tavernas and bars, offering local Greek cuisine and international dishes to suit everyone`s tastes.
