Moraitika lies on the east coast of the island, 12 miles south of Corfu Town, backed by olive groves and popular with families and couples, looking for a lively holiday resort with plenty of activities available.
The weather can vary between 14-21° off season and 25-32° during the summer months, wonderful for sunbathing on the beach and cooling off in the warm water of the gently shelving beach, perfectly safe for the kids to paddle and swim. There are a number of water sports available from the beach in Moraitika, as well as boat trips to nearby coves and beaches, and a regular bus service to other resorts such as Corfu Town, Kavos and Benitses. Although Moraitika is not as lively as Kavos, there are still plenty of bars, discos and clubs to keep you dancing through the night, as well as traditional Greek tavernas, offering delicious fresh fish dishes, and restaurants serving international cuisine, such as good old British food.
