The holiday resort of Kavos can be found on the southern tip of Corfu and is hugely popular with party loving holiday makers and sun worshippers. Days in Kavos are meant for lazing on the beach all day and catching up on your sleep, then putting your dancing feet on to party throughout the night until dawn.
The temperature in Kavos during the off season can range between 15-20° and a glorious 25-32° in the summer months, perfect for sunbathing along the 5 mile length of sandy beach, cooling off in the sea or trying your hand at some of the water sports. There are a number of Greek tavernas selling traditional dishes in Kavos, but generally you will find restaurants and cafes selling good old British food from all day breakfasts to burgers and chips. As for the nightlife, Kavos is full of nightclubs, karaoke bars and discos, allowing you to dance and party until the sun comes up. For those more energetic holiday makers looking for activities to keep them busy during the day, there are some lovely walks, boat trips or a regular bus service to Corfu Town available.
