Boasting the only golf course on the island and a lovely sandy beach, Son Parc lies on the north coast of Menorca, between the fishing village of Fornells and the livelier resort of Arenal. The weather in Son Parc can vary between 13-21° out of season and up to 32° during the summer months.
Son Parc beach consists of soft sand and has been awarded the Blue Flag for it`s cleanliness, with families tending to stick to the shallow eastern end, nearest to the resort centre, due to the western side of the beach shelving quite steeply into the sea. The main street in Son Parc, known as `the strip`, is where you will find a number of bars and restaurants, catering for all tastes from fresh fish dishes and local Spanish food, to international cuisine and good old British grub. There are a few mini-markets offering the usual holiday essentials, and craft shops to purchase some good, cheap holiday souvenirs. Nightlife in Son Parc is not a lively affair, with a relaxing friendly atmosphere in the bars overlooking the bay.
